Watched the movie I Am Sam a bit ago. Blown away by the soundtrack. I'd heard it before and was impressed by almost universal success in not messing up already good Beatles songs (minus Sheryl Crow. Mother Nature's Son was an awful remake). Watching the Behind the Scenes of Aimee Mann and Michael Penn this song became my favorite as it matches the movie just perfectly.
Eddie Vedder's You've Got to Hide Your Love Away is a close second. He recorded the song in less than two days with the remark that he'd be singing this song around campfires since he was 14. Cake.
